Hi my name is Sharmistha I am an admit of fall 2020 I MPH and I am looking forward for Hybrid Track
My concentration is also Epidemiology
For an elective credit, are we able to take classes at the Law School?
If I start online for fall 20 and wish to join on campus for spring 21 but couldn't due to visa issues, can I take a semester break? If so, how will semester break affect my credits/scholarship/tuition?
In going with the online only track, are the online classes asynchronous, synchronous, or a combination of the two?
Will there be an online option for the spring semester as well?
what happens if spring semester still happens under the Pandemic, can we get a semester break. another
On that same note, if you choose the online track, are you still eligible for work study?
Another question * how does the payments looks like? do we pay as installments, per semester (at the end of the semester)?
The enrollment packet mentions that 11 credits is the minimum course load. If we anticipate graduating in May 2022, how many credits/courses do we need for each semester?
Also, would doing an online semester for Fall 20 in any way affect my practicum opportunities for summer?
Are the online classes live or pre recorded, i am asking because of the time difference
Will tuition and/or fees be lowered due to everything being online?
By any chance off the top of your head, do you know if WashU is already affiliated with the VA for practicum?
Few RA and graduate assistantship had been on freeze, when will that freeze get released and once released how can we work on those if we are doing the course online during the fall?
what is the current conversation around global programs? will there be opportunities to remotely participate in a global practicum?
With the online option, will not being able to take the introductory 5038 Practice 1 class first semester limit opportunities or delay practicum and graduation?
I noticed that there are some courses where different professors are teaching the same course. Do these courses have the same structure (readings, discussions) or is it different based on the professor? Should we consider the professor that is teaching the course before choosing a course?
so is there an option to get a semester break for the first semester, can someone start on spring if they get semester break now?
If we are taking out loans for tuition and living expenses, when do the loans get dispersed to our account?
Hi, is there any reason why MSW Online only students interested in 12 credits are being told not to register for S15-5040 (Social welfare policies & services).
Are you able to talk about mental health services and health insurance? Are those available through the Brown School or through Wash U? I'm sure I could just dig around on the website and find this information out myself, but I figure that I'm here, might as well ask!
Do you envision that student activities/groups will be meeting online?
Thank you for answering my previous doubts! I would like to ask whether I would be able to defer even after completing all steps in the enrollment packet too if I have to make a change in plans?
