Academic advisors makes sure you have all the classes you need to graduate. Faculty advisors help to advise you on your career and potential selection of elective courses based on your career goals/trajectory. Field advisors work directly with you to explore your practicum experience (foundation and concentration). As the mental health concentration chair, I am always available for advising:)

Is your GPA the main consideration within the application? My undergrad GPA was …not great.
Ryan Lindsay
01:15:51
^no- all applicants are reviewed from a holistic perspectives. Every applicant has a story- a GPA isn't the whole story.
Phoenix Lintner
01:17:26
That’s good to know.
Ryan Lindsay
01:17:47
Many of us weren't our best selves during undergrad. We understand that we have unique factors that drive that narrowed outcome of GPA. Tell us your story:)

Do you tend to have a lot of older students?
Sarah Birch
01:29:43
Ages range from 23 - 65! Average is 24, but we anticipate folks in the part-time program will be older adults.
Phoenix Lintner
01:30:04
That is good to know
