Great question, Tracy. Advanced standing applicants can apply later this year for a Fall 2023 start.

I love that you can do practicum at your current place. I want to do this specifically to be a therapist at my current agency.

Academic advisors makes sure you have all the classes you need to graduate. Faculty advisors help to advise you on your career and potential selection of elective courses based on your career goals/trajectory. Field advisors work directly with you to explore your practicum experience (foundation and concentration). As the mental health concentration chair, I am always available for advising:)

Is your GPA the main consideration within the application? My undergrad GPA was …not great.

^no- all applicants are reviewed from a holistic perspectives. Every applicant has a story- a GPA isn't the whole story.

Ages range from 23 - 65! Average is 24, but we anticipate folks in the part-time program will be older adults.
